Yeah, black metal is quite unusual. I agree with the powerful guitars, but the vocals sound quite silly to me. I normally prefer classic power & thrash metal (e.g. Diamond Head, Twisted Sister, Blitzkrieg, Metallica, etc...), but if I'm feeling silly, I'll put on some black metal or death metal.
